Operations/General Manager $90K to $100K plus
A private company located in Los Angeles, is seeking a General Manager. The General Manager will report to the Area Manager. Responsibilities will be to manage a location in accordance with state and federal laws, facility policies, procedures and standards. Perform collections, bank and report financial transactions, recruit, hire and train qualified employees. Track performance, coach, administer performance reviews, discipline and terminate when necessary. Maintain and improve the revenue gross margin, efficiency and the operational integrity of the location. Must be effective communicator to establish and maintain good rapport and excellent working relationships. Analyze and report revenue, gross margin, shortages, and percent of sales to traffic count, turnover and contracts. Ability to pass necessary reference and background/credit checks. Qualification: 4 year degree in Business Administration or related field. Five years experience managing people, business and financials. Strong management skills and laws related to personnel management, familiarity managing union workers and union negotiations a plus. Also the physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
