Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sr. Director Human Resources & Talent Management reports directly to the Chief People Officer and partners with senior management to build our client’s bench of talent by providing strategic leadership and flawless execution in training, organizational design and the development of organizational and employee competencies of new and existing platforms designed to achieve the company’s long term goals.
Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and implement workforce planning initiatives that allow the organization to anticipate and address changes to workforce availability and requirements. • Provide leadership and counsel to department leaders for the development of training programs that will support the company strategy. • Facilitate change management methodologies, assess training and development needs, and ensure the implementation of improved processes. • Partner with field HR to ensure the efficient operation of field training centers. • Provide leadership on the development of company-wide programs including curriculum, internships, succession planning and performance management. • Determine future avenues for administering learning and development programs such as eLearning and other computer based systems. • Enhance individual and team performance by creating a climate of continuous learning in support of the organization's strategic initiatives. • Maintain current knowledge on advances in the learning and development field, as well as, changes in the legal environment that will impact the department's methods and practices.
Work Experience and/or Education Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or related field required. Graduate degree a plus. 10 years of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, including significant experience in training and organizational development as well as other HR disciplines within a competitive and progressive environment Previous retail industry training & development
Leadership experience in HR disciplines outside Learning and Development.
